Can you believe April 1 was the 6 month mark since Bailey was diagnosed? That just seems totally unreal to me!
We had a pretty good week, things are getting better tiny bit by tiny bit. She does seem to have better balance, but she's still tripping over invisible things so I just keep reminding her to walk slowly. The opsoclonus is still here though & that's what is the most worrisome to me.
We saw our local neurologist Wednesday for a follow up & she was very pleased with her speech. She's got a large vocabulary & speaks clearly so we got an A+ in that department!
I spoke with Dr P's office & we scheduled our next appointment for the first week of June. That will be right around 6 months since she finished chemo so he'll do another spinal tap to check her B & T cell counts. The timing is perfect because Alex will just be out for summer break at that point so he won't have to take off to go. I think by the time the end of school rolls around he will have taken 35-40 days off this year..whew
